Lets talk about stories we have in mind....and or in the process of writing

I am writing a story about two sisters who were seperated for four years and the younger one went out to find her older sister. When she found her she found out that her older sister was married and had two kids and the younger sister stayed with them for a while. So yeah....I am going to make it a chapter book I think. Not a short story, but idk bc that sounds like a challenge!

I am trying to write a novel (crazy, aren't I?) about a fantasy world where dinosaurs still exist and technology is both futuristic and old at the same time. The main characters are a girl and her pterodactyl friend. But I have no clue how to get it started.

Yeah, it is, some days, I'd rather pull my hair out than write.

Haha!!! I just leave it for like 2 weeks. I usally just start another one so that I dont get over whelmed with one.

I heard about an author who would write a draft, then put it away for a year, then read it and revise it. I forgot what his name was, but it does show that even a little bit of time away from your writing can help.

i am writing a book and i just might have to do that before i decide to publish it or anything.....lol.
jk....i would never publish any of my books.
seems like i would be busy all the time if it became famous!

I would love to publish something, but I might do it under a pen name, so that way, people wouldn't hound me all the time if the book became famous.
