Two Poems

I had to write these for English class. They were written pretty quickly and are not that great:

North Wind

The wind swoops in,
Grasping the city in its talons,
The sidewalks are its prey.
It cries in the breeze
before swiftly flying away.

Peace is the watery world,
That plunges into the depths.
It flows and ripples and spreads,
Bringing life wherever it goes.

The fishes dance,
The dance of serenity.
Their fins grace the waters,
Tranquility flashes its scales.
